In 2023 I successfully completed a PG Diploma in Innovation through Design Thinking at University College Cork, (UCC). I enjoy applying the design thinking problem-solving methodology to innovate and creatively problem-solve to arrive at effective and practical outcomes to any challenge.

Welcome to Admin Solutions, I’m Siobhan O Connor, an experienced administrator and design thinker based in Bandon, County Cork. Whilst I am originally from Dublin, I have been enjoying life in Bandon, West Cork for over twenty years.

I love to sort out those admin jobs you hate to do, using technology to put systems and processes in place. One of my favourite books is “The Checklist Manifesto: How To Get Things Right” by Atul Gawande. I believe admin chaos can be tamed and transformed into a well-oiled machine bringing peace of mind to those who grapple with these administrative hurdles.

I have a degree in Applied Psychology (UCC 2013) with a focus on computer research
methods. I completed an Excel Expert certificate in 2021, and in 2023, successfully completed a PG Diploma in Innovation through Design Thinking with UCC. I enjoy applying the design thinking problem-solving methodology to innovate and creatively problem-solve to arrive at effective and practical outcomes to any challenge.

Before all of that, I completed a 2 year certificate in graphic design, and have experience in a diverse range of software packages.

TECH ENTHUSIAST since macintosh 128k

With a background that spans various tech roles, I’ve had the pleasure of working with technology since the days of the iconic Apple Macintosh 128K. Today, I enjoy harnessing the power of technology including AI to enhance our daily lives. My previous roles include time spent as a graphic designer, desktop publisher, researcher, Excel data analyser, administrator, and data manager in a variety of business sectors including marketing, printing, recruitment, and higher education.
